Honoring a piece of work like The Satanic Witch is not a simple task. Dr. Anton LaVey pieced together with Diane LaVey a book of such depth and practical use that for some the book is heavily engrained into who they are. That personal connection makes it difficult to approach objectively let alone from a totally alien viewpoint. Yet such a challenge is one those involved with this site are willing to take on. With it comes the responsibility to present the ideas the text raises in a current context while preserving their original meaning. All involved are excited about the potential for this site and for the opportunity to highlight and honor the true Satanic Witch.

The book I would recommend about Modern Satanic Witchery – The Satanic Witch – by Anton Szandor LaVey.
An essential reading for any Satanist! Originally entitled “THE COMPLEAT WITCH”, this 1989 Feral House edition features the added introduction written by Zeena LaVey in 1988! In her introduction, Mr. LaVey’s bewitching daughter, Zeena, discusses how the practical use of THE SATANIC WITCH has affected her life.
A very interesting read, especially if you are a heterosexual female.
The book basically spoke of using the power of femininism to “enchant” all and to obtain what you desire. Of course there are rules and suggestions to follow. LaVey had created a very interesting vision of how people are classified: the synthesizer clock (there are 12 points on a clock, each represent a type of person). To find a person’s position on the clock, you are able to understand them and it makes it rather easy for you to “enchant”.
Even has a chapter on rituals…rituals that require a lot of emotional power to be put into it.
An interesting read and I WILL read it again.
I believe as a book I learned more from the Satanic Witch. It’s a great piece of work about women and men’s behavior to women and such. I really couldn’t believe that this “man” knew this much about women. That some guy actually paid attention enough to write a book about us. It’s one of those books that every time I go back and read it I understand more. Anton had a way about him that has made an everlasting impression on my life.

A Satanic Witch is an empowered creature, because she has embraced who and what she truly is. She doesn’t look in the mirror and hate what she sees, but rather glories in herself and shows off what she’s got!
A Satanic Witch is a woman who makes full use of her Feminine Wiles, it’s using things like Beauty, Glamour and Intelligence to get what you want and be who you want to be.
A Satanic Witch MUST command Respect from all who attend her and familiarity undermines the Power of Mystery. Satanist’s believe in the Sacredness of the Individual. Your True Guide is Yourself.

The book I recommend about the Modern Satanic Philosophy - The Satanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey.
In Satanism there are two main types of magic; Greater Magic and Lesser Magic.
- Greater Magic -
Ritual or Ceremonial Magic
- Lesser Magic -
Everyday Magic of applied Psychology, Glamour, Non-Ritual Manipulative magic.
Greater Magic
Greater Magic is what is more commonly thought of when the word “magic” is uttered. That being Rituals and Spells and calling forth power, but it is not as easily accessible as Lesser Magic.

In1989 I read this book. Although I am a male, I loved it. Becaues of this book, one of the things I like to do is to help the women ,who will let me, become better satanic witches.
